What happened to the Manti Pageant?
The Mormon Miracle Pageant ended in 2019 and is no longer performed in Manti. The last outdoor performances were on Temple Hill, on Highway 89 in Sanpete County.

What the pageant was
It told the beginnings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including scenes from the Book of Mormon and the fictional story of Robert and Mary Henshaw. In a typical season, eight free performances featured a cast of about 500 and drew a combined audience of roughly 80,000.
On Temple Hill, that annual production made Manti a major seasonal destination on Highway 89 in Sanpete County, and one of the best-known recurring cultural events associated with the town.
In 2018, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced that the Manti Pageant would conclude after its 2019 season. From the October 2018 Newsroom statement:
Local celebrations of culture and history may be appropriate. Larger productions, such as pageants, are discouraged.
The Manti Pageant will end in 2019.

Visiting Manti and Temple Hill
