Skyline Eventing Park

Recognized horse trials, cross-country, and eventing on the same municipal grounds.

Skyline Eventing Park sits at the south end of Mt. Pleasant, on the Cleone Peterson Eccles Equestrian Center campus. It was founded in 2015 to grow eventing in USEA Area IX and now runs recognized horse trials, schooling events, and clinics. Details are on skylineeventing.com.

The campus has four all-weather rings, including a spacious indoor arena, more than 200 horse stalls, ten concrete-pad wash stalls, RV hookups, and a cross-country course of more than 60 acres. The 2025 course was designed by James Atkinson. Obstacles run from introductory levels through Preliminary and include banks, ditches, and two water complexes.

Eventing is the equestrian triathlon: dressage, cross-country, and show jumping. Spectators are welcome at events and clinics, and admission is free. The next recognized competition is The Event at Skyline and USEA Area IX Championships, September 4 through 6, 2026. Cross-country schooling is $35 per horse.
