Friends of Historic Spring City received Preservation Utah’s 2026 Heritage Organization award. About 180 volunteers have spent more than forty years keeping Spring City, a town of about 1,000 in Sanpete County, looking like itself.
Preservation Utah’s article covers the 1899 Old School, now the community center; the Junior High next door; small grants for historic houses and outbuildings; and the work to keep the one-acre lots that follow the Plat of Zion. It also covers Heritage Day, held every May since 1983, and Candlelight Christmas. Read the full article at https://www.preservationutah.org/awardees-2026/friends-of-historic-spring-city.
